The home of this ancient winegrowing tradition is the Isarco Valley. And what could be more beautiful than enjoying your Törggelen experience during an autumn hiking holiday where it is most typical: in our beautiful region. We will be happy to reveal you insider tips on which local restaurants in the area offer the best South Tyrolean wines and specialties.
Visit our fabulous festivals!
Our holiday region is all about apples. They characterise the course of the year and thus also the festivals on the popular apple plateau Naz-Sciaves. If you can arrange it, then plan your hiking vacation in South Tyrol during one of our nationally known folk festivals. May begins with the traditional Apple Blossom Festival, where an apple queen and other royalty such as onion and asparagus queens welcome you and invite you to the Flower Ball and the Royal Festival. In the summer, the Alpen-Flair Festival with its up to 40,000 visitors offers the largest South Tyrolean music event, where you may listen to everything from folk music to Schlager and German rock. This event is truly unique in South Tyrol and is definitely worth a visit. At harvest time in October, Naz-Sciaves invites you to the Apple Festival. This is where the new queens are crowned. There are parades, live music events and of course also culinary experiences.
